Weekend Under the Stars - October 17-19
 Your celestial journey starts on Friday evening with a tour of the night sky led by Tim Yaworski, Saskatchewan’s “Living Sky Guy”. Join Tim on a short walk from the hotel to learn about the fall sky and see closeup views of galaxies, star clusters and nebulas with the aid of a smart-telescope (weather permitting). On Saturday morning join Tim in the hotel for a continental breakfast followed by his “Into to Astrophotography” workshop. Learn how to capture the beauty of the night sky with your interchangeable lens digital camera or smartphone. You are free to spend the afternoon independently exploring the beauty of the park as it slows down for fall and prepares for the peace of winter. Join Tim again in the evening for a night photo walk. We will drive to a dark sky area of the park to try out your new photographic skills and create your own night sky masterpiece. Minimum equipment required: Digital DSLR or mirrorless camera with wide angle lens and a tripod or Recent model smartphone (less than three years old) with a tripod. Date: October 17-19, 2025 Price: $204 per person based on double occupancy and one person attending the Astrophotography workshop/breakfast $266 per person based on double occupancy and two persons attending the Astrophotography workshop/breakfast. Cross Country Ski and Winter Festival - January 16-18 2026
 It is back! Our second annual Cross country Ski and Winter Festival is being held on January 16-18, 2026. Nestled in the beautiful boreal forest, this event is for both experienced and novice skiers, and offers hosted ski events, a timed event with prizes, a scavenger hunt, Friday evening reception, a full day on Saturday with indoor and outdoor activities, a Saturday dinner with door prizes and great entertainment, and wind-up skiers breakfast on Sunday morning. A sauna and cold plunge will be onsite, and more! More information and pricing to come. |
